31st Annual Mr. Ed’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner

31st Annual Mr. Ed’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Dinner held at Murray’s on Main (810 Superior Ave, Tomah, WI) beginning at 11:00 on Thanksgiving morning.

The dinner is free to all who wish to attend. All are welcome. The dinner will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll, milk or coffee, and pie.

In 1993, the late Ed Thompson began the tradition of a free community Thanksgiving dinner in Tomah as a way to foster community and so that no one was alone for the holiday. That tradition continues for the 31st year with the help of many volunteers.

Donations of pie can be delivered to Murray’s on Main the week of Thanksgiving. Dinners can be delivered to shut ins by calling Tina at 608-343-4956 by Monday, November 25th at noon. Monetary donations can be mailed to 119 Alyssa Street, Tomah, WI 54660. Volunteers are needed for this event.
