Influenza is a highly contagious respiratory illness.  Symptoms include fever, chills, headache, aching muscles and joints and a sore throat.  The influenza season usually runs from November though April with peak time being January or February.

Annual vaccination is recommended for all persons over 6 months of age.

Wed. Oct. 2     12:30-1:30pm New Lisbon City Hall

Thurs. Oct. 3     9-10am Necedah Village Hall

Fri. Oct. 4     8-9am Wonewoc Village Hall

Mon. Oct. 7     3-4pm Elroy Family Medical Center-Community Room

Tue. Oct. 8    11:45am-12:15pm Lyndon Station Meal Site

Wed. Oct. 9    9-10am Mauston, Juneau County Health Dept. (200 Hickory St.)

Thur. Oct 10    10:30-11:30am Camp Douglas VFW

If  you are unable to attend these clinics, you may call (608) 847-9373 for an appointment/

Cost for flu vaccine is $35.00.

Bring your Medicare/Medicaid card to bill them for vaccination.

If you are homebound and would like an influenza shot, contact Tina Sullivan, R.N. at 847-9378.
