Late summer of 2017, Chris was diagnosed with Dysautonomia, a rare disease of the Autonomic Nervous System (which controls involuntary bodily function). Symptoms may include fatigue, lightheadedness, fainting, weakness and/or cognitive impairment.

Since the onset of the disorder, Chris has been rushed to the emergency room numerous times by ambulance due to fainting spells. At other times he may experience dizziness, weakness, impaired vision or an occasional severe migraine headache.

The medical prognosis for Chris is uncertain. Doctors at Mayo Clinic have given Chris little hope that he may completely recover from this disorder. Due to the complications of the disease, Chris does not drive a car and has not been able to work since September of 2017. Thus, the family is faced with insurmountable medical bills and daily living expenses. They are in desperate need of help from family, friends and neighbors.
