Senior citizens can learn how to stay healthy and safe during the event at the Cranberry Country Lodge, 319 Wittig Road, Tomah. Coordinated by Tomah Memorial Hospital Community Outreach, the free event will run from 8 a.m. - noon. More than 40 educational booths will offer a number of topics geared toward senior health. Complimentary screenings include eye health, hearing with use of a video otoscope, spinal check, along with non-fasting cholesterol and glucose checks will be available.
At 11:15 a.m., the variety show group, "The Memories" will take to the stage. A new feature will be a hobbies and special talents area where seniors can learn a new hobby and see how other seniors spend their free time. Complimentary food and refreshments will be available plus door prizes.
