Directors Mike Larkin and Lynne Trainor have selected "Guys on Ice" as the winter offering for the Area Community Theatre. Auditions will be held on Monday, December 9th and Tuesday, December 10th at ACT in the theatre located at 907 Kilbourn Avenue in Tomah starting at 6:30 PM.  There are three male cast members in the production ranging in age from mid-20's to early 40's.  This delightful musical is the story of two ice-fishing buddies who talk and sing about life, love, and the one that got away. Safe in their ice-fishing shanty, long-time pals Lloyd and Marvin keep warm with a mutual appreciation for good bait, cold beer, and football. This is the type of production that will certainly be a crowd pleaser for ACT audiences. If you plan to come to try-outs, please prepare to sing a short song of your choice acapella, there will be a piano available if someone would like an accompaniment during his audition. Those who are trying out should plan to bring sheet music if they are not singing acapella.   Performance dates for the show have been set for February 7,8,9,14,15,16,21,22, and 23. Please contact the Area Community Theatre at (608) 374-SHOW if you have any questions.
