-Now is the time to rid your home and farm of hazardous and special wastes!

-Saturday, October 5, 2013, 8am-2pm

-Monroe County Landfill, 20448 Junco Rd., Norwalk, WI  (608) 269-8783

-Open to all Monroe County residents  **No Commercial ** No Industrial**

-These items will NOT be accepted at the Clean Sweep:
  Explosives (shotgun shells, fireworks, gunpowder, etc.)
  Radioactive materials
  Garbage and large items (couches, chairs, demolition material)

-Acceptable items at no charge
  Hazardous waste, paints, old drugs, compact fluorescent bulbs (cfl's), waste oil & oil filters, anti-freeze, rechargeable batteries, lithium & button batteries (hearing     aid, camera, etc.), small helium and LP tanks (20 pound or smaller), Ag plastic (silage bags, bunker covers, containers up to 55 gallon)

-Acceptable items with fees
  Tires ($125.00 per ton), appliances, TV's, computers, electronics ($10.00 per item) and fluorescent tubes (50¢ each)

-Monroe County reserves the right to charge a fee for quantities of hazardous waste over 5 gallons or 50 lbs.  Prices may be subject to change
