Ridgeway Community School will host its annual Ridgeway Community Celebration on Sunday, August 4th on the school grounds just west of Ridgeway, MN. This year’s event will feature the Bob Hass memorial Tractor and Classic Car Show, as well as a pie and hand-made tractor quilt raffle. There will be a number of kids activities including at Kiddie Tractor Pull that begins at 12:30 pm as well as bounce houses, small farm animals, and a Hula Hoop competition at 1:30 pm. A pie, baked goods and quilt auction will also be taking place at 2:00 p.m. to help raise funds for the school’s handicapped accessible inclusive playground renovation project.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun of this free event. Bring your tractor (any make, any model) or your classic car any time after 9:30 am on Sunday, August 4th. The tractor and classic car show will be open for public viewing between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on the school grounds. Throughout the event the Ridgeway
Community School 4th and 5th graders will be selling a hot dog or brat lunch and holding a 50/50 raffle to help support their upcoming trip to Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center.
