Sandra Hookham, author of Lisa’s Triumph: Victory over Leukemia, together with Lisa Sullivan whom the book is about, and co-author (Patricia Sullivan, Lisa’s mother), will be doing a book signing at the La Crosse Public Library (800 Main), La Crosse, WI on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 1 p.m to 5 p.m.
At age nine in 1974, Lisa Sullivan was given a 20% chance of living just six months. Last December, Lisa celebrated her 48th birthday. Lisa's Triumph: Victory over Leukemia is the miraculous story of Lisa's recovery. Authors Sandra Hookham and Patricia Sullivan along with Lisa Sullivan (Pat’s Daughter) will be selling and signing books. There are three editions available: 8x10 full-color deluxe; 6x9 black & white; and 8x10 economy. Visitors will be able to talk with Lisa, Pat, and Sandra as they answer questions about the book.
