Women of all ages can learn the secret to more joy and peaceful moments in life during the 14th annual Women's Health Night scheduled Thursday, March 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cranberry Country Lodge, Hwy. 21,Tomah. UW-LaCrosse Health Education & Health Promotion associate professor Dr. Keely Rees will share reflective practices to help women transition from home to the workplace and back home. Mayo Health Clinic Tomah Dr. Jill Hendrickson M.D. and Laura Damrow, CNM will discuss preventive measures for Cervical Cancer. Coordinated by the Tomah Memorial Hospital Community Outreach and Center for Occupational Health and Wellness, a number of area businesses and organizations will display informational exhibits geared toward women and women’s health topics, while various complimentary health screenings will also be offered. The free event will also include healthy snacks, refreshments and door prizes.
