Every three seconds, someone in the Tomah community needs blood. Tomah area residents can help meet the need by giving blood on Thursday, March 21 from 1 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tomah Memorial Hospital, 321 Butts Avenue.
To donate blood, a person must be in good health, at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and have photo identification.
Sixteen-year-olds may donate with parental consent. Forms are available at Tomah Memorial, and on line with the Blood Center of Wisconsin at www.bcw.edu.
Donors can call Tomah Memorial Hospital at (608) 374-6605 to schedule an appointment or go on line to www.tomahhospital.org.
Walk-ins are welcome.
