BENEFIT FOR ECHO VALLEY HOPE AT ECHO VALLEY FARM:
JASON MOON TO PLAY, JANUARY 11, 6:00 PM
Echo Valley Hope hosts Iraq War veteran and Milwaukee-based folk/rock singer/songwriter Jason Moon for a benefit concert benefiting Echo Valley Hope. All ages are welcome at Echo Valley Farm, E14604 County Road F at Z, Ontario, Wisconsin, and food will be available for purchase.
Moon was deployed in 2003 and performed frequently for his fellow troops, but for over five years after
his return he was unable to finish more than a single song. Breaking the cycle of PTSD and depression, he began to volunteer for veterans-issue charities, and in 2009 he was interviewed for the forthcoming documentary feature film On The Bridge. He recorded one of his original songs for the credits roll, which ultimately led to his new album, Trying to Find My Way Home. Tireless advocate for veteran’s issues and for peace, and Wisconsin Network for Peace & Justice’s 2009 “Peacemaker of the Year,” Jason Moon will play new songs about his life.
This event is free, and all donations will benefit Echo Valley Hope (www.EchoValleyHope.org). For details or to confirm your attendance, call (608) 337-4578.
